For School Leavers

Your marks will undergo many statistical adjustments before calculation of your Tertiary Entrance Rank.

The mark adjustment involves three processes

• Standardization: Places all exams on a common scale allowing for a correction for hard or easy exams.
• Moderation: Allows for variations of marking and assessment in different schools.
• Scaling: Adjusts marks according to the relative difficulty of the course.
