Course Title Certificate IV Higher Education Preparation Studies (Commerce Stream)
Course Overview Successful completion of the Certificate IV in Commerce course guarantees you entry into the Diploma of Commerce. This accelerated Pre-Diploma course, which runs over two terms (six months), has been carefully structured to prepare you for the subjects you'll study in the Diploma of Commerce and to achieve this in a short period of time. This course, which can also be used for direct entry into some Western Australian university courses, is available to both local and international students. Small class sizes, extra tuition time and appropriate subjects ensure that you will be extremely well prepared for your future studies.

Course Duration 20 weeks
Time Allocation 5 subjects, each for 5 hrs per week (1 x 1 hr and 2 x 2hr sessions each week)
Prerequisites

Age prerequisite:
Local students need to be at least 17 years of age as of the 1 January of the current year.
International students need to be at least 16 years of age as of the 1 January of the current year.

International Student English Competency Requirements
  • TEE English, WAUFP ELACS: 50%
  • TEE ESL: 55%
  • GCE 'O' Level English, 1119: C6
  • SPM English: C6
  • HKCEE English: Level 3
  • IELTS Overall Band Score: 5.5
  • TOEFL: 525 or 195 (new grading system)
