Course Overview

This course is an introduction to the Internet and the World Wide Web using Internet Explorer and Outlook Express. The course covers basic terminology, web browsing, the effective use of search engines, managing favourites, downloading files, accessing newsgroups and working with e-mail address books and attachments.

Prerequisites

Age prerequisite:
Students need to be at least 17 years of age as of the 1 January of the current year.

Subjects prerequisite: Participants should have basic computer skills.
