Online Programs

Let’s learn online

Through online delivery, our programs are more accessible than ever.

Students who are unable to travel to Perth can start on their pathway to university by studying our programs through online delivery. Available only while travel restrictions are in place, our online programs have attracted students from many parts of the world.

Students who join our virtual classrooms will be able to experience the full benefits of international education by joining us on campus when travel restrictions are lifted (subject to government approval). Students enrolled in online programs are required to have a reliable internet service, web camera, and enthusiasm for online learning.

Our experienced teachers engage students in a live learning environment that allows them to achieve their potential. Students follow a regular timetable, and teachers conduct lessons using video conferencing technology.

Offshore students receive access to online resources that are also used by students attending classes. The resources include a noticeboard outlining daily tasks, lesson plans, library, links to video content, and workbooks. Teachers assign group work that connects online students with each other and to those in class.

Canning College’s commitment to putting students first applies to those onshore and online. Students are allocated a Care Group Leader, who is available to answer questions relating to study challenges.

Online students can also access additional assistance with English language through our Literacy Support Officer.

Students studying online will have the same excellent educational experience of those attending classes in person. They will be required to complete all tasks, including tests and examinations.
