Through online delivery, our programs are more accessible than ever.
Canning College will continue to offer online learning to international students in 2022 to assist those who are waiting for visas to be processed.
Students can avoid delaying the start of their studies by enrolling in online programs. They can continue the live, interactive learning until they are able to enter Western Australia and be part of the on-campus experience.
Students enrolled in online programs are required to have a reliable internet service, web camera, and enthusiasm for online learning.
Our experienced teachers engage students in a live learning environment that allows them to achieve their potential. Students follow a regular timetable, and teachers conduct lessons using video conferencing technology.
Offshore students receive access to online resources that are also used by students attending classes. The resources include a noticeboard outlining daily tasks, lesson plans, library, links to video content, and workbooks. Teachers assign group work that connects online students with each other and to those in class.
Canning College’s commitment to putting students first applies to those onshore and online. Students are allocated a Care Group Leader, who is available to answer questions relating to study challenges.
Online students can also access additional assistance with English language through our Literacy Support Officer.
Students studying online will have the same excellent educational experience as those attending classes in person. They will be required to complete all tasks, including tests and examinations.
